Thursdays, February 10 - March 10 at 6:00pm: In preparation for the 2011 Georgia Organics Annual Conference in Savannah, this festival at the Telfair Museum of Art features food-centric films such as Dirt, Fresh, Fridays at the Farm, and Ingredients. On March 10th from 6:00 to 7:30pm Arianne will be part of a paneled discussion on the themes from the films with policy makers (ahem…Mayor Otis Johnson), food producers (that's us!), nutritionists, and other food professionals. See the Facebook page here.

Awesome movie. I want to show it to my health education majors at Armstrong Atlantic State University and am trying to figure out if buying the DVD and showing it to 30 students is acceptable.
ReplyDeleteHi Ronni-
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you there last night! Friday's at the Farm is actually the only film in the series that didn't charge a screening fee. So yes, I imagine all you need to do is buy the film and you can use it as you please. You can find it online. Hope you'll also encourage your students to come to next weeks' film, Dirt. It's really a great one too! The rest of the films have different rules about screenings, Ingredients even has a special category for schools.
Hope to see you for the next two Thursdays :-)
